How the class of 2020 really feels… and how you can help

The graduating class of 2020 ended their school year without face-to-face connection with their lifelong friends, inspiring teachers, and familiar walls of their classrooms. We’ve put together a list of the 3 most thoughtful graduation gifts to lift your grad’s spirits.

1. #postponedontcancel

Plan a future vacation for your graduate. Choose a destination you know they’ll appreciate, like one they’ve mentioned before or one connected to their heritage. We can continue to support local, small businesses by booking trips in advance of a *much* later date. Present your gift in a box with hand written airline tickets and include items distinct to your destination. For example, if you’re booking Paris, include a chic French beret hat and macarons - 'lette is our local fav!

2. Curated lists

Put together a list of the best local restaurants, outdoor activities, and/or boutiques in their college town. Print or draw a map and place a gift certificate or money origami at each stop. We love this idea, because you’re setting your grad up for eating healthy and staying active while supporting mom-and-pop shops!

3. Words of wisdom

Collect notes from family and friends and put them together in a notebook. Or create a digital version by having them record themselves and compiling the clips in a video for your grad. Either way, this is a forever gift that they can look to as they experience different seasons in life.

Le Petit Garden wishes our 2020 grads… my stepdaughter, Maya, included 🤗 ... health and prosperity, physically and spiritually, as they begin this next chapter in their book.

Always growing,
Rebecca
