The story of Le Petit Garden begins when Rebecca was potting plants with her children. She envisioned a place where kiddos could make a mess and mommas didn't clean up (you know, a mom's typical daydream). She thought of a place where families and friends could gather for special occasions and infuse their time spent together with an experience that would last for years to come - not only in memory.
She and her husband practice a Jewish tradition called hachnasat orchim (welcoming guests). They invite into their home young people who have emigrated to this country without family, elderly people with family no longer living, and everyone in between. It seemed only natural to marry her passion for hosting guests, a trait she inherited from her mother, and her love of plants, a trait she inherited from her father, to create the elegant mélange that is Le Petit Garden.
Le Petit Garden is unapologetically spiritual. We intend to reconnect you to the nature around us and within us. Our studio and event space is a place where communities gather and share eco-experiences.
